Quick and Easy Beef Stew

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes


  • 2 - pounds boneless beef sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 3 - Tablespoons flour
  • 1 - Tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 - package McCormick® Beef Stew Seasoning Mix
  • 3 - cups water
  • 1 - bag (24 ounces) frozen vegetables for stew or 5 cups assorted cut-up fresh vegetables


  1. Coat steak cubes with flour. Heat oil in large skillet or Dutch oven on medium-high heat. 
  2. Add steak cubes, 1/2 at a time; brown on all sides. Drain. Repeat with remaining steak cubes.
  3. Stir Seasoning Mix and water into skillet. 
  4. Add vegetables and bring to boil. 
  5. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 15 minutes or until vegetables are tender
