2 - pounds beef stew meat, cut into 1-inch cubes

1 - package Beef Stew Seasoning Mix
2 - cups water
1/2 - cup red
1/4 - cup red wine
6 - slices cooked
1 - pound baby red
1 - can (15-1/4 ounces) whole kernel

1/2 - cup sliced
Coat beef with flour. Heat oil in large saucepan or Dutch oven on medium
Add beef in batches; brown beef on all sides. Drain. Return beef to

crumbled bacon. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 1 hour.
Add potatoes, corn, onion and celery. Simmer 45 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
Thicken with flour, if
Heat (on stove or in microwave) and pour into a thermos.
When you get to the picnic or tailgate site, just pour and enjoy.
