Beef Chowder

Ingredients

2 - pounds beef stew meat, cut into 1-inch cubes

3 - Tablespoons flour

2 - Tablespoons vegetable oil

1 - package McCormick® Beef Stew Seasoning Mix

2 - cups water
-
1/2 - cup red wine
-
1/4 - cup red wine vinegar

6 - slices cooked bacon, crumbled

1 - pound baby red potatoes, quartered

1 - can (15-1/4 ounces) whole kernel corn

1 - cup chopped onion
-
1/2 - cup sliced celery
Directions

Coat beef with flour. Heat oil in large saucepan or Dutch oven on medium
heat.

Add beef in batches; brown beef on all sides. Drain. Return beef to
saucepan.
- Add Seasoning Mix, water, wine, vinegar and
crumbled bacon. Bring to boil.
- Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 1 hour.
- Add potatoes, corn, onion and celery.

Simmer 45 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
- Thicken with flour, if
desired.
Picnicking
& Tailgating
Heat (on stove or in microwave) and pour into a thermos.
When you get to the picnic or tailgate site, just pour and enjoy.
