Makes 4 (1 3/4-cup) servings

2 - package (1-pound) frozen
1 - cup water
2 - container (10-ounces) refrigerated Alfredo sauce
1 - cup milk
1/4 - teaspoon pepper
Shredded carrot (garnish)
- In medium saucepan over medium
heat, add the broccoli and water.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and cover.
- Simmer for 8 to 10 minutes or
until broccoli is tender. Do not drain.
- Place about 1 cup of the
broccoli and water mixture in blender container.
- Cover and blend until smooth.
- To broccoli mixture in saucepan,
add the pureed broccoli, Alfredo sauce, milk and pepper; mix
well. Cook and stir for 3 to 4 minutes or until thoroughly
- Garnish with shredded carrot.
Heat (on stove or in microwave) and pour into a thermos.
When you get to the picnic or tailgate site, just pour and enjoy.
