& Country Dijon Mustard-Style Ribs

1 - large onion, cut into
1/4-inch-thick slices, separated into rings
1/3 - cup maple-flavored syrup
1/4 - cup country-style Dijon mustard
2-1/2 to 3 - pounds country-style pork ribs, trimmed of fat, cut into
3-inch pieces
- In 3-1/2 to 4-quart slow cooker,
first place the onion rings.
- In a small bowl, mix the syrup and
mustard; mix well.
- Spread evenly over ribs.
- Place coated ribs over onion.
- Cover and cook LOW for 8
hours.
- If desired, serve with additional
mustard.
