Barbecued Pork Loin Ribs

Prep Time: 15 min.
Cooking time: LOW 8 to 10 hrs. or HIGH 4 to 6 hrs.

Ingredients:

Directions:

Spray inside of 4 to 5-quart slow cooker with no-stick cooking spray.

  1. Season ribs with garlic, salt and pepper. Cut into 2 or 3-rib portions. Layer ribs and onions in slow cooker.

  2. For the barbecue sauce: in a medium bowl, combine brown sugar, prepared mustard, ketchup, butter, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke and chili powder.  Pour over ribs.

  3. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours, or HIGH for 4 to 6 hours or until ribs are fork tender.

Alan's Kitchen Tip:

Too busy to assemble this recipe all at once?  Make the barbecue sauce up to 2 days ahead; store in refrigerator until ready to use.
