Easy Cheesy Kielbasa with Beans

Slow Cooking Time: LOW 8 to 10 hrs.


  • 1      pound ground chuck

  • 1      large green bell pepper (diced)

  • 1      large onion (chopped)

  • 1      package 16-ounce) kielbasa sausage (thinly sliced)

  • 2      cans (10-3/4-ounce) tomato soup (un-drained)

  • 1      can (14-1/2-ounce) diced tomatoes (un-drained)

  • 1      can (10-ounce) diced tomatoes with green chilies (un-drained)

  • 4      cans (16-ounce) pinto beans (un-drained)

  • 4      cans (15-ounce) pork and beans (un-drained)

  • 1/2   teaspoon salt

  • 1/2   teaspoon pepper

  • 2      cups (8-ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese


  1. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground chuck, bell pepper, and onion, stirring until meat crumbles and is no longer pink.  

  2. Remove from heat and drain.

  3. In skillet, brown kielbasa and drain.

  4. Place ground chuck mixture, sausage, tomato soup, diced tomatoes, pinto beans, pork and beans, salt, and pepper in a 5-quart Slow Cooker.

  5. Cook, covered, at LOW for 8 to 10 hours.

  6. Stir in cheddar cheese just before serving.
