Ingredients

  • Cuban bread
  • 1/2 - cup bottled mojo sauce (Cuban sauce of citrus, garlic & herbs)
  • 1 - pound cooked turkey, sliced thin
  • 1 - medium orange, peeled and sliced into rounds
  • 1 - large lime, peeled and sliced into rounds
  • 1/2 - cup shoestring potato sticks
  • 1 - medium avocado, sliced
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper (as needed) 
  • olive oil (as needed)

Directions

  1. Split each loaf of Cuban bread in half lengthwise. 
  2. Spread 2 tablespoons of mojo sauce over the bottom half of each bread section.
  3. Build each sandwich with sliced cooked turkey, orange and lime slices, shoestring potato sticks and avocado slices. 
  4. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
  5. Cover with top halves of bread. 
  6. Firmly press to flatten the sandwiches.
