Ham and Smoked Gouda Biscuit SandwichIngredients

  • 4 - Tablespoons butter, softened
  • 8 - large Eggs
  • 8 - (2 ounce) slices smoked ham
  • 2 - cans Buttermilk Biscuits (cooked according to directions)
  • 8 - slices Smoked Gouda Cheese
  • 8 - slices Monterey Jack Cheese

Directions

  1. In a skillet, add 2 tablespoons butter and melt over medium high heat.
  2. Place 3 eggs in skillet and keep the eggs separated. 
  3. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes, then gently turn the egg whites over the yolks.
  4. Cook until eggs are firm.
  5. Repeat process with remaining eggs, then set aside and cover with foil.
  6. In a skillet or griddle, place ham and heat for about 2 minutes per side.
  7. Split open the biscuits. Used remaining butter and spread a thin layer on both sides.
  8. Place the biscuits on griddle, buttered side down.
  9. Cook biscuits for 2 minutes.
  10. Turn biscuits over and place jack on the top and gouda slices on the bottom.
  11. Continue cooking for 1 minute.
  12. Remove biscuits from griddle and place ham and eggs on the heel.
  13. Top with the top and serve.
