Ingredients:
- 1/4
cup onion
- 2
Tablespoon shortening
- 3/4
cup ketchup
- 1/4
cup chili sauce
- 1-1/2 teaspoon
vanilla
- 2
Tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2
teaspoon salt
- 1/8
teaspoon pepper
- 1-1/2 teaspoon
mustard
- 6
franks, cut into 1-inch pieces.

corn bread or hot dog bun
Directions:
- In a large saucepan, brown onions
in shortening until golden born.
- Add ketchup, chili sauce,
vanilla, brown sugar, salt, pepper, and mustard. Mix
well.
- Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Add
franks to sauce and heat.
- Serve over corn bread or sandwich
buns.
