Swiss Fondue Sandwich

Ingredients:
- 4 - Tablespoons butter, softened
- 2 - cups sliced onions
- 1/2 - teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 - teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/8 - teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 8 - slices (1-ounce) Deli Swiss or Swiss
& American Cheese
- 8 - slices marbled rye or hearty grain

Directions:
- Melt 1 tablespoon butter in 10-inch skillet
until sizzling. Add onions and garlic salt.
- Cook over medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes,
stirring occasionally, until onions are browned.
- Stir in lemon juice and nutmeg.
- Layer 1 slice bread with 1 slice cheese,
about 3 tablespoons onions, 1 slice cheese and 1 slice bread.
- Spread remaining butter on both sides of
sandwiches.
- Cook in same skillet over medium heat for 4
to 6 minutes, turning once, until golden brown.
