Italian Grilled Cheese

Ingredients:
- 8 - slices Italian bread
- 4 - Tablespoons butter, softened
- 8 - slices (3/4-ounce) Deli American Cheese
- 4 - ounces sliced deli salami
- 1/2 - cup roasted red pepper strips
- 1/3 - cup mild banana pepper rings
- 12 to 16 - basil leaves, if desired
Directions:
- Spread 1 side of each bread slice with 1/2
tablespoon butter.
- To make sandwiches, layer 4 slices bread,
buttered-side down, with 1 slice cheese, 3 to 4 basil leaves,
1/4 salami, 1/4 roasted red pepper strips, 1/4 banana pepper
rings and 1 slice cheese. Top with remaining bread slices,
buttered-side up.
- Heat 10-inch skillet over medium heat.
- Place 1 sandwich into skillet and cook for
8 to 10 minutes, turning once, until golden brown and cheese is
melted.
- Repeat with remaining sandwiches.
