Chicken-Cheddar PocketsPrep Time: 15 min.
Cooking Time: 12 min.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 - cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 - cup chopped green pepper
  • 1 - teaspoon oil
  • 1 - package (6 ounce) Grilled Chicken Breast Strips, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 - can (8 ounce) refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 1/4 - cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 F.

  1. Cook onion and pepper in hot oil in medium skillet until crisp-tender. 
  2. Add chicken breast strips; mix well.
  3. Separate crescent dough into 4 rectangles.
  4. Firmly press perforations together to seal.
  5. Pat out each rectangle to 8x4-inch rectangle.
  6. Spoon chicken mixture onto one half of each rectangle; sprinkle evenly with cheese.
  7. Fold dough over filling to enclose.
  8. Press edges of dough together, then press with tines of fork to seal completely.
  9. Bake 12 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Serve warm.
