Hamburger Biscuit

Hamburger Sandwich Recipes from AlansKitchen.comMakes 4 servings.

  •       1  can (16.3-ounces) refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
  • 1-1/2  pounds lean ground beef
  •       2  Tablespoons onion, chopped
  •    1/4  teaspoon salt
  •    1/4  teaspoon pepper
  •    1/8  teaspoon garlic powder
  •       4  lettuce leaves
  •       4  tomatoes slices
  •       4  onion slices

Heat oven to 350 F.  Lightly grease cookie sheets.

1) Separate dough into 8 biscuits.

2) Press or roll each to form 5 (1/2-inch) round.  Place on greased cookie sheets. 

3) Bake at 350 F. for 15 to 17 minutes or until light golden brown.

4) Meanwhile, in large bowl, add ground beef, onion, salt, pepper and garlic powder.  Mix well. 

5) Shape ground beef mixture into 4 (5-inch) patties. 

6) Over medium heat, heat 12-inch nonstick skillet, heat until hot. 

7) Add patties and cook 10 to 12 minutes or until thoroughly cooked, turning once.

8) Place 4 baked biscuits, bottom side up, on plates. 

9) Top each with patty, lettuce, tomato and onion. 

10) Top each with baked biscuit, bottom side down.
