Hawaiian Loaf Manwich Sandwich
This aloha Sloppy Joe sandwich puts the salad inside the
sandwich
Makes 6 Sandwiches (1/6 sandwich each)
Prep Time: 15 min.
Ingredients:
- 1 - pound lean ground beef
- 1 - can (15.5 oz each) Manwich Original Sloppy Joe Sauce
- 1 - large round loaf Hawaiian bread (1 round loaf = 16 oz)
- 1-1/2 - cups prepared deli coleslaw
Directions:
- Cook meat in large skillet over medium-high heat about 7 minutes or
until beef crumbles and is no longer pink; drain.
- Add Sloppy Joe sauce and heat through.
- Cut loaf horizontally leaving bottom portion about 1 inch larger
than top.
- Spread meat mixture evenly over bottom of bread.
- Top with coleslaw; spread to cover meat mixture.
- Position top of loaf on coleslaw.
- Cut sandwich into six wedges with a serrate knife to serve.
- Secure wedged with a toothpick, if desired. Serve immediately.
