Anita's "Hot Salsa"
Makes 2 cups
Prep Time: 15 min. Cooking Time: 6 to 8 min.
Blender Time: 1 min.
Ingredients:
Salsa Recipe Directions:
1) In a saucepan, boil tomatoes and peppers for 6 to
8 minutes.
2) Drain water and remove skin from tomatoes.
3) Put in blender with jalapeno peppers, onion,
oregano, salt, and pepper.
4) Blend for a minute or until smooth, unless you
prefer your salsa chunky.
Kitchen Tip: Serve with tortilla
chips. Makes great "Juevos Rancheros". Or make Guacamole by adding
salsa to a mashed avocado.
