Alan's Garden Salsa

Great way to use our tomatoes and hot peppers out of the garden.

Appetizer & Snack Recipes from AlansKitchen.comPrep Time: 10 min.

Ingredients:

  • 1 - 2 cups chopped fresh tomatoes (depending on how hot you like it)

  • 1 chopped onion

  • 1 jalapeno pepper, chopped finely

  • 1 hot banana pepper, chopped finely

  •    Lots of fresh cilantro from garden (Also you can use the green coriander seeds from the cilantro plant)

Salsa Recipe Directions:

1) In a medium bowl, add tomatoes, onion, jalapeno pepper, banana pepper, and cilantro.

2) Cover with plastic wrap and place in refrigerator for 1 hour.

Kitchen Tip:
Eat it over beans. Over rice. My personal favorite is in big heaps on top of a baked pita. Enjoy.
