2 tablespoons kosher salt

2-1/2 tablespoons paprika

1 tablespoon onion powder

2 tablespoons garlic powder

1 tablespoon cayenne pepper

1/2 tablespoon white pepper

1 tablespoon dried thyme

1/2 tablespoon black pepper

1 tablespoon dried oregano

  • Take a large bowl and add the salt, paprika, onion and garlic powder, cayenne pepper, white pepper, thyme, black pepper, and oregano.
  • Mix the ingredients together.
  • Place my seasoning mixture in a sealed plastic container.

Picnicking & Tailgating

Use this in your New Orleans cooking even great as a Seasoning mix.  Just use it like salt or pepper.

If you like it real hot, then use hot chili powder.  However, you might like to use mild for a calmer taste.  I like to combine half mild and half hot.
