All American Pasta Salad

Refrigerator Time: 4 hours

Ingredients

  • 1 - package (16 ounces) rotini pasta (6 cups)
  • 1-1/2 - teaspoons Red Food Color & Egg Dye
  • 1 1/2 - teaspoons Blue Food Color & Egg Dye
  • 1 - bottle (8 ounces) Italian salad dressing
  • 4 - Tablespoons Salad Supreme Seasoning
  • 5 - cups assorted cut-up vegetables, such as tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers, yellow squash or red onions

Directions

  1. Bring 2 cups water to boil in medium saucepan.
  2. Add Red Food Color and 1 cup of the pasta. Cook as directed on package.
  3. Rinse under cold water; drain well.
  4. Repeat with additional 2 cups water, Blue Food Color and 1 cup pasta.
  5. Repeat with additional 8 cups of water and remaining 4 cups pasta.
  6. Place pasta in large serving bowl.
  7. Add dressing and Salad Supreme Seasoning; toss gently to coat.
  8. Add vegetables; toss gently. Cover.
  9. Refrigerate at least 4 hours to allow flavors to blend. Toss before serving.
