Pennsylvania Dutch Cooking from AlansKitchen.com Fried Potatoes
Make 4 servings



  1. In a skillet at moderate heat, melt butter. 
  2. Add in the potatoes and onions into the skillet. 
  3. Cover skillet and fry potatoes and onions until they are almost brown on one side. 
  4. Uncover, turn, and stir. Cover skillet again. 
  5. Wait until the potatoes and onions are almost brown and add the celery seed, salt, and pepper. 
  6. Cover again and keep frying until there is a crust on the bottom, but not burned.
