String Beans

Ingredients
- 1 - quart string beans
- 1 - teaspoon salt
- 1 - stalk fresh mint, chopped
- 1 - Tablespoon butter
- 1/8 - teaspoon pepper
Directions
- Cut the beans lengthwise and fine (French
bean-style).
- Add 1 quart of water to pot and bring to a
boil.
- Plunge beans into boiling water and quickly cook
7 minutes.
- Drain the water.
- Add fresh boiling water and salt, and mint.
- Cook 5 minutes longer or until beans are
tender.
- Drain, add butter, pepper, and shake over heat
until piping hot.
