Makes 1 (deep 8-inch) pie.

Baking Time: 30 min + 10 min
- Rich Pastry
- 3/4 cup sugar
1 Tablespoon butter
4 cups strawberries
1/3 cup flour, sifted
- Pinch of salt
Preheat oven to 350� F.
- Use Rich Pastry.
- Roll out bottom crust and line deep pie dish.
Sprinkle a little sugar across crust and dot with butter.
strawberries with sugar and pour into shell.
- Dredge lightly with
flour and salt, dot with butter.
- Roll out top crust and gash a
design for air holes.
- Place on pie, crimp, and seal.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove, sprinkle a little powdered sugar on
the crust, brush with a tiny bit of butter.
- Return to oven, bake 10
minutes longer, when crust will be golden brown.
