Apple Coconut Streusel Pie

Pennsylvania Dutch Cooking from AlansKitchen.comMakes 1 (9-inch) pie
Prep Time: 15 min
Baking Time: 1 hr


  • 6     cups apples, peeled and sliced
  • 3/4  cup sugar
  • 1/4  cup flour
  • 1     teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1     unbaked (9-inch) shell
  • 3     Tablespoons water

Coconut Streusel Topping

  • 1/3  cup brown sugar
  • 1/3  cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4  cup butter, softened
  • 1/2  cup flaked coconut


Preheat oven to 375� F.

  • In a bowl, combine apples, sugar, 1/4-cup flour, and cinnamon.
  • Pour into pie shell and sprinkle with water.
  • In a bowl, mix brown sugar, graham crackers, butter, and coconut.
  • Cover topping over apples.
  • Bake for 1 hour.
