Chocolate Chip Raisin Cookies
about 8 dozen cookies

1 cup shortening
2 cups sugar
1 cup sour cream
4 cups all-purpose
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon soda
1 or 2 packs chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts
2 cups raisins
(boiled, cooled, and drained)
Preheat oven to 375°
F. and grease cookie sheets.
In a large mixing bowl, cream
shortening and sugar. Add eggs and beat until fluffy. Add sour cream and mix well.
Gradually add flour, salt, and soda.
Mix well. Stir in chocolate chips, nuts, and
