Nut Bread III
Makes 2 loaves
- 4 - cups all-purpose flour
- 4 - teaspoons rounded baking powder
- 1 - egg, beaten
- 1 - cup sugar
- 2 - cups milk
- 1/4 - teaspoon salt
- 1 - cup walnuts, chopped
- 3/4 - cup raisins
Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease and flour two loaf pans [3-1/2 x
In a mixing bowl, sift the flour with the baking powder. In a
large mixing bowl, combine the egg, sugar, milk, and salt.

Pour batter into loaf pans.
Let the batter rise 30 minutes and then bake 50 to 60 minutes.
