Breakfast Cake I
- 2 - cups all-purpose flour
- 2 - cups sugar
- 4 - teaspoons baking powder
- 2 - teaspoons butter
- 2 - cups milk
- 1 - Tablespoon butter, melted
- 2 - Tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/4 - teaspoon cinnamon
Preheat oven to 375° F. and grease
four 7-inch pie pans.
In a large mixing bowl, sift in
the flour, sugar, and baking powder. Add the butter and mix. Add the milk and beat.
Fill the pie pans with
mixture. Brush tops with butter. In a small bowl, mix the brown
sugar and cinnamon together.
Then sprinkle over the
cakes. You may dot the tops with
butter. Place in oven and bake 35 to 40
minutes or until golden brown.
