Waffles II

Pennsylvania Dutch Cooking from AlansKitchen.comMakes five 7-inch waffles


  • 1/2 - cup butter, melted
  • 5 - eggs, beaten
  • 2-1/2 - cups all-purpose flour, sifted
  • 2 - teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 - teaspoon salt
  • 2 - cups milk


  1. In a mixing bowl, mix the butter with eggs. 
  2. Then sift in the flour, baking powder, and salt. 
  3. Gradually add the milk. 
  4. Beat until batter is smooth. 
  5. Pour batter on hot greased waffle griddle and close lid, and bake until golden brown.
