Lucille's Chicken

Ingredients

  •       1  chicken, cut up

  •       1  can of cream of celery soup

  •       1  small can of fruit cocktail

  • 1-1/2 - teaspoon ginger

  • 1-1/2 - teaspoon dry mustard

  •       2  Tablespoons cornstarch

  •    1/2 - cup brandy

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

  1. In a blender, add soup, fruit cocktail, ginger, dry mustard, cornstarch, and brand. 
  2. Blend until you liquefy ingredients.
  3. In a oven proof pan, add chicken and pour ingredients over the chicken. 
  4. Bake for 1-1/2 hours.

Picnicking & Tailgating:

You can do this just before leaving or ahead of time.  If you cook it ahead, just heat (on stone or in microwave).

Place either way in a thermal container and keep nice and hot until you reach your destination.
