Lucille's Chicken
Makes 4 to 6 servings.

Ingredients

1 – chicken, cut up

1 – can of cream of celery soup

1 – small can of fruit cocktail

1-1/2 - teaspoon ginger

1-1/2 - teaspoon dry mustard

2 – tablespoons cornstarch

1/2 - cup brandy

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

  • In a blender, add soup, fruit cocktail, ginger, dry mustard, cornstarch, and brand.  Blend until you liquefy ingredients.
  • In a oven proof pan, add chicken and pour ingredients over the chicken.  Bake for 1-1/2 hours.

Picnicking & Tailgating:

You can do this just before leaving or ahead of time.  If you cook it ahead, just heat (on stone or in microwave).

Place either way in a thermal container and keep nice and hot until you reach your destination.
