Sauté onions in 2 Tablespoons oil over medium heat n a large skillet;
remove onions and set aside. Add remaining oil and chicken to skillet;
cook chicken until golden.
Remove onions to skillet; add tomatoes,
wine or broth, garlic powder, thyme, and nutmeg. Mix well; reduce
heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
Add apple, raisins, and
cream; simmer over low heat for an addition 6 to 8 minutes. Stir in
lemon juice. Serve over prepared rice.
