Shrimp Patties

Makes 4 servings

Prep Time: 15 min
Baking Time: 15 min


  • 2      cups cooked, shelled shrimp, deveined
  • 3      slices not-too-fresh bread, crust removed
  • 1/4   cup melted butter containing:
    • 1/2    teaspoon mace
    • 1/2    teaspoon pepper
    • 1/2    teaspoon slat
  • 2      cups cream sauce


Preheat oven to 275 F. and butter baking pan.

  1. Pound the shrimp in a mortar, run them through a meat grinder, or put them into a blender.
  2. Soak the bread slices in water, squeeze dry, and crumble into he shrimp.
  3. Mix in the savory butter and shape into small cakes.
  4. Place in pan and bake for 15 minutes or until brown.
  5. Serve with cream sauce.
