Strawberry Mousse Frappé

Makes 4 to 6 servings

Prep Time: 15 min
Standing Time: 1 hr
Chilling Time: 2 or 3 hrs.


  • 1 quart strawberries, decapped, washed, and halved
  • 1 cup confectioners sugar
  • 1 pint heavy cream, whipped
  • 1 jigger brandy


  1. In a bowl, cover the berries with sugar.
  2. Let stand 1-hour. Drain and reserve juice.
  3. Mix the berries with heavy cream, add a little of the juice, and chill or freeze.
  4. Add brandy to remaining juice and pour over mousse before serving.
