1 - box (16-ounces)
your favorite pasta
1 - box (10-ounces) frozen broccoli florets,
1 - jar (1-pound) roasted garlic parmesan sauce
1/2 - cup diced drained roasted red peppers
4 - ounces bacon, crisp-cooked and crumbled
Parmesan cheese (garnish)
according to package directions, adding broccoli
during last 2 minutes of cooking; drain.
- Return pasta
mixture to saucepan.
- Next, stir in
sauce and roasted peppers.
- Spoon onto
serving platter and top with bacon.
- Garnish with
grated Parmesan cheese.
Prepare the sauce a day or two ahead.
Reheat in microwave and pour into a thermos to keep hot.
Prepare the noodles the day of the picnic or tailgate party. Then place in hot thermal container to keep hot.
At your site, just put the sauce and spaghetti together.
Just put the grate
cheese in a plastic container and into the ice chest to keep chilled.
Sprinkle over the spaghetti when ready to chow down.
