Lasagna Sausage Rolls

8 - dried lasagna
4 - sweet Italian sausage links, halved crosswise
1 - can (15-ounces) extra thick and zesty tomato
1 - can (14.5-ounces) diced tomatoes
1/2 - cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)
1 - Tablespoon fresh basil, chopped or 1/2 teaspoon
dried basil, crushed
according to package directions; drain.

cheese in a plastic container and into the ice chest to keep chilled.
Sprinkle over the spaghetti when ready to chow down.
