Old-Fashioned Pumpkin Pie
Makes 8 servings.

1 - package (15-ounce) refrigerated pie crusts,
softened as directed on package
3/4 - sugar
1-1/2 - teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1/2 - teaspoon. salt
1 - can (15-ounce) pumpkin
1 - can (12-ounce) evaporated milk
2 - eggs, beaten

Prepare pie crust as directed on package for one-crust pie using 9-inch pie pan.

Preheat oven to 425F.

  • In large bowl, and sugar, pumpkin pie spice, salt, pumpkin, evaporated milk, and eggs. 
  • Mix. 
  • Pour into pan.
  • Bake for 15 minutes. 
  • Then reduce oven temperature to 350 F. and bake 40 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.
