Maple Pumpkin Pie
Makes 8 servings.
1 - package (15-ounce) refrigerated pie crusts,
softened as directed on package
3/4 - sugar
1-1/2 - teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1/2 - teaspoon salt
1 - can (15-ounce) pumpkin
3/4 - cup evaporated milk
1/2 - cup maple-flavored syrup
2 - eggs, beaten
Preheat oven to 425°F. Prepare pie crust as directed on package
for one-crust pie using 9-inch pie pan.
- In large bowl, and sugar, pumpkin pie spice, salt, pumpkin,
evaporated milk, and eggs.
- Pour into pan.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Then reduce oven temperature to 350° F. and
bake 40 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out
