Fresh Peach Ice Cream
Makes 1 quart
Ingredients
- 2 - cups half & half
- 3/4 - cup sugar
- 1/4 - cup nonfat dry milk
- 3 - cups peeled pitted sliced
peaches, or 1 - package (16 ounces) frozen sliced peaches, defrosted
- 3 - Tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 - teaspoon vanilla extract
- dash salt
Directions
- In a blender or food
processor, add half & half, sugar and dry milk.
- Process until smooth.
- Add peaches, lemon juice,
vanilla and salt. Process until smooth.
- Chill in the refrigerator
until ready to freeze.
- Blend mixture for a few
seconds before pouring into the ice cream maker.
Freeze according to
manufacturer's directions.
