Nutty Oatmeal Chocolate

Ingredients:

2-1/2 - cups uncooked
regular oats
-
1 - cup butter or
margarine (softened)

1 - cup sugar
-
1 - cup brown sugar
(firmly packed)

2 - large eggs
-
1 - Tablespoons vanilla
extract
-
2 - cups all-purpose
flour
-
1 - teaspoon baking
powder
-
1 - teaspoon baking soda
-
1/2 - teaspoon salt
-
3 - milk chocolate candy
bars (.55-ounces)(chopped)
-
3/4 - cups pecans
(chopped)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°
F. Lightly grease baking sheets.

In a blender or food processor,
process oats until ground.

With an electric mixer
at medium speed, beat butter or margarine, sugar, and brown sugar
until fluffy.

Add eggs and vanilla,
beating until blended.
-
Gradually add oats,
flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, (beating at low speed) until
blended.

Add to butter mixture,
beating until blended.

You want to stir in
chocolate and pecans.
-
Using a tablespoon, drop
onto baking sheets.

Bake for 7 to 8 minute
or until gold brown.

Remove to wire racks to
cool.
