Vanishing Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Makes about 4 dozen cookiesCookie Recipes from Alan' s Kitchen

Prep Time: 15 min.
Baking Time: 12 min.

Ingredients:

Cooking Directions:

Preheat oven to 350-degrees F.

1) In a bowl, beat together butter (or margarine), brown sugar and granulated sugar until creamy.

2) Add eggs and vanilla, beat well.

3) In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Add to butter mixture and mix well.

4) Stir in oats and raisins. Mix well.

5) Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.

6) Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.

7) Cool for 1 minute on cookie sheet and remove to wire rack to finish cooling.

*For high altitude: increase flour to 1 3/4 cups.
