Ingredients

Directions

I preheat my oven to 350 F and grease and flour 8x8x2-inch baking pan.

  1. In a mixing bowl, I sift the flour, baking powder, salt, and cocoa.  I set this aside for a minute.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, I combine the butter and eggs.

  3. Next, I gently stir in the flour mixture, vanilla chips, and semi-sweet chocolate.

  4. I spread my brownie mixture in my greased pan and place in my oven.

  5. Then I bake it for 35 minutes.  To test for doneness, place a toothpick in the middle and wait until it comes out clean.

  6. I allow the brownies to cool in the pan.  Then I cut them into bars.
