M&M's and
Peanut Butter Brownies
Makes
16 bars.
Ingredients:
Directions:
Preheat oven to
350° F and butter and flour 9 x 13-inch baking pan.

In a
medium-mixing bowl, sift in the flour, baking
powder, and salt until well combined. Add in the
M&M’s.

Into a
double boiler, add 6 tablespoons butter and
chocolates.

Set to
simmer and heat until butter and chocolate are
about half melted.

Then remove
the top pan and continue to stir the butter and
chocolate until fully melted. Allow to cool for
10 minutes.

Into a
large mixing bowl, add the granulate and brown
sugar.

With a
mixer, beat in one egg at a time and beat until
smooth.

Next, beat
in the egg yolks for 3 minutes or until pale
brown.

Next, beat
in the remaining butter (1 tablespoon at a
time).

Keep
beating for 5 minutes or until creamy.

Finally add
the peanut butter, vanilla and cooled chocolate
mixture for 2 minutes or until smooth.

Next, stir
in the flour mixture. Do not over mix.

Spoon the
batter into the baking pan. Make sure to spread
the batter into the corners.

Place on
the lower baking rack for 15 minutes. Rap the
pan 3 or 4 times.

Continue to
bake for 12 minutes or until toothpick comes out
clean.

Remove from
oven and place on a wire rack to cool.

After 30
minutes, cut the brownies and serve.
