Grilled Lemon-Jalapeno Chicken

  • 1/2 - cup fresh lemon juice

  • 5 - garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 - can (4 ounces) diced jalapeno chilies, drained

  • 1 - chicken cut into serving pieces

  • 1/2 - teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 - teaspoon freshly ground pepper


Prepare a medium-hot grill fire and well oiled

  1. In your blender add lemon juice, garlic and chilies.  Blend until smooth.  Rinse chicken and dry.

  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper.  Place chicken on hot grill.  Brush liberally with lemon-chile mixture.

  3. Cook 25 minutes on one side.  Turn.  Cook another 25 minutes or until meat near thigh bone is no longer pink.
