Double Diamond RR Tri-Tip
1 - teaspoon garlic powder
1 - teaspoon
Salt and freshly ground black powder (to taste)
1 - tri-tip roast (1-1/2 to 2 pounds)
1) In a
bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, salt and freshly ground
black powder. Rub mixture all over roast.
2) Place roast
in a large plastic bag. Place in refrigerator for several hours.
3) When ready to grill, lightly brush grill with vegetable
oil, to prevent from sticking.
4) Grill roast over medium
heat, turn occasionally, for 30 to 35 minutes. Or to desired
doneness. Remove from heat and cover with foil for 10 minutes.
5) Slice the roast across the grain into thin slices.
Makes 4 serving.
