Circle E Ranch Beef Stroganoff
3 - Tablespoons butter
1 - onion, diced
1/2 - pound mushrooms, sliced
2 - pounds round steak
1 - teaspoon salt
1 - cup water
Tablespoons tomato paste
2 - cups beef bouillon
1/2 - cup
2 - cups rice
1) In a skillet, melt 2 Tablespoons butter.
Add onion and mushrooms, sauté until onion is tender. Remove
with a slotted spoon and set aside.
2) Debone steak and
remove excess fat. Cut steak into 2-1/2 inches long and 3/4 inch
wide. Add remaining and beef strips to skillet. Brown steak.
3) In a bowl, combine flour and salt. Add water and tomato
paste. Mix until smooth. Pour over steak.
