Range Rider Brownies

Ingredients:Cowboy Cooking Recipes from

  • 1 - cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 - teaspoon baking powder
  • 4 - Tablespoons cocoa
  • 3/4 - teaspoon salt
  • 1 - cup sugar
  • 2 - eggs, well beaten
  • 2/3 - cup vegetable oil
  • 1 - teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 - cup pecans


Preheat oven to 350-degrees F.

1) In a mixing bowl, sift flour, baking powder, cocoa, and salt together.

2) Bear sugar into eggs. Add oil and vanilla. Add flour mixture and mix well. Add nuts.

3) Pour into a greased and floured pan, 8x12 inches. Bake at 350-degress F. for 20 minutes.

4) Leave in pan to cool and cover with Chocolate Frosting. Cut in squares.

Makes 24 servings.
