Makes 12 servings

Ingredients:Cowboy Cooking Recipes from


  • 1 - cup flour, sifted
  • 2 - Tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 - cup butter


  • 2 - eggs
  • 1-1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 - cup flour, sifted
  • 1/2 - teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 - teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 - cup coconuts
  • 1 - package (6 oz.) chocolate chips



1) Mix one cup sifted flour with two Tablespoons brown sugar.

2) Cut in 1/2 cup butter until fine crumbs are made.

3) Put into buttered baking pan and bake 15 minutes at 350-degress F.


1) In a bowl, beat eggs until lemon color. Add brown sugar gradually.

2) Add flour, baking powder, and vanilla. Fold in coconut and chocolate chips.

3) Spread over partially baked base and bake at 350-degress for 30 minutes. When cool, cut into squares
