Gold Miner's Mud Pie

Ingredients:

cups sugar
- 2
sticks butter or margarine
- 4
eggs
- 1-1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup cocoa
- 1
cup chopped nuts
- 3
teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 package
(10-ounces) miniature marshmallows
- Frosting:
- 1 box
confectioners sugar
- 1 stick
margarine
- 1 teaspoon
vanilla
- 1/4 to 1/3 cup evaporated milk
- 1/3 cup cocoa
- 1 cup nuts
Directions:
Preheat oven to 300° F.
- In bowl, cream sugar and butter.
- Add eggs.
- Sift flour, cocoa, and salt together and add to
creamed mixture. Mix well.
- Add nuts and vanilla.
- Pour into a 13x9x2-inch baking pan.
- Place in oven and bake for 35 min.
- Remove from oven.
Increase temperature to 350° F.
- Pour marshmallows over top and return to oven for
10 minutes.
- Remove from oven and cool 1 hour and then frost.
- To prepare frosting: In a medium bowl, add
confectioners sugar, margarine, vanilla, evaporated milk, cocoa, and
nuts. Mix well.
- Spread frosting over top of Mud Pie.
