Cowboy Spurs Cookies

  • 2 - sticks margarine

  • 1 - cup packed brown sugar

  • 1 - cup white sugar

  • 2 - eggs

  • 1/2 - teaspoons baking powder

  • 1 - teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2 - teaspoon salt

  • 1 - cup oats

  • 1 - cup coconut

  • 2 - cups chocolate chips

  • 2-2/3 - cups all-purpose flour


Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease baking sheets.

  1. In a large bowl, cream margarine and add brown and white sugars Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

  2. To margarine-sugar mixture, add, baking powder, baking soda, salt, oats, coconut, chocolate chips, and flour.

  3. Shape dough into balls on baking sheet. Bake for 12 minutes or until brown.
