Rangeland Sourdough Pancakes

Ingredients:Cowboy Cooking Recipes from AlansKitchen.com

  • 2 - cups Sourdough Starter [go to]
  • 2 - eggs
  • 2 - teaspoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 - cup dry milk
  • Flour
  • Water
  • 1 - teaspoon baking soda

Directions:

1) In bowl, mix sourdough starter, eggs, brown sugar, and dry milk. If mixture is too thin, add flour to desired consistency. If mixture is too thick, add water.

2) Stir in baking soda and allow to stand one minute.

3) Ladle or pour batter onto a greased (cast iron) skillet.

4) Fry until bubbles form and break on top, Turn and continue frying until golden brown.
