Dill Sauce

Cowboy Cooking Recipes from AlansKitchen.comMakes 1 cup

Ingredients:

  • Yolk of 1 hard-boiled (hard-cooked) egg
  • 1/2     cup salad oil
  • 1-1/2  teaspoon vinegar
  • Dash  Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2     teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2     teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4     teaspoon salt
  • 1/8     teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4     teaspoon dried dill (or 1-teaspoon fresh dill)
  • 1/4     cup unsweetened whipped cream

Directions:

  1. Rub the egg yolk though a sieve and bean in the salad oil.
  2. Now, beat in the vinegar, Worcestershire, mustard, sugar, salt, pepper, and dill.
  3. Fold in the whipped cream.
  4. Place in refrigerator and chill or 1 hour or until ready to serve.
