Chilling Time: 24 hrs
Baking Time 90 min

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 - pounds ground beef
  • 1 - cup water
  • 2 - Tablespoon liquid smoke
  • 2- Tablespoons saltpeter
  • 1/2 - teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 - teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 - teaspoon mustard seed

Directions:

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, add ground beef, water, liquid smoke, saltpeter, onion powder, garlic powder, and mustard seed.
  2. Mix well.
  3. Form into a long roll, wrap in foil with shiny side in, and refrigerate 24 hours.

Preheat to 300 F.

  1. Bake on a rack for 90 minutes.
  2. Cool and refrigerate.
