  • 3 - Tablespoons vegetable oil

  • 3 - Tablespoons flour

  • 1/4 - cup bell pepper, chopped

  • 1 - can (4 -ounces) diced green chiles

  • 1/4 - teaspoon dry mustard

  • 1 1/2 - cups tomato juice

  • 1 - can Mexi-corn, drained


  1. In a saucepan, heat oil.  Stir in flour and mix with whisk until all flour is absorbed.

  2. Add bell peppers, chiles, and mustard along with tomato juice.

  3. Simmer slowly until thickened slightly.  Remove from heat and stir in corn.
